Deputy Delegate of the District Attorney in Braga and Delegate of the Public Ministry in the Labor Courts of Vila Real, Aveiro and Guimarães;
Secretary of the Delegação da Ordem dos Advogados de Guimarães (Guimarães Delegation of the Bar Association) between 1972 and 1979;
President of the Delegação da Ordem dos Advogados de Guimarães (Guimarães Delegation of the Bar Association) between 1980 and 1995;
Was elected delegate to five Congresses of the Ordem dos Advogados (Bar Association) and member of the Organizing Committee of the 1st Entre-Douro-e-Minho Lawyers Meeting;
Promoted with the Câmara Municipal de Guimarães (Guimarães City Council) the creation of the third Free Legal Consultation Office in the country, having been its director since its foundation in 1991;
Collaborated in the Law and Social Studies Journal;
President of the General Meeting Associação Jurídica de Braga (Braga Juridic Association).
Awarded with the Honor Medal from the Conselho Geral da Ordem dos Advogados (General Council of the Bar Association) by determination of February 10th, 2010.
