Francisca Brochado, trainee lawyer at our office, in collaboration with Beatriz Costa, a trainee solicitor and Sofia Ribeiro, a graduate in Social Education, created a Law Workshop at Escola Secundária Francisco de Holanda. This initiative is aimed at the institution’s students and its main objective is to train conscious and informed citizens. In an informal teaching environment, the volunteers of this project aim to demystify legalese, to make young people aware of the collection of rights and duties that make up our Constitution, as well as to help them understand its meaning and scope. The founders of the initiative will be joined by our trainees’ lawyers, Inês Machado, Marlene Ribeiro, Mariana Alves Viana, Francisco Rego Costa and João Raposo Rangel da Gama Lobo, as volunteers.
